you might be able to do a lbp fuser reset might clear the problem or you do have a bad fuser

you can try a lbp fuser reset. leave me an email i will tell you how to do it. or unfortunately you do have a bad fuser and when you replace it you need to do a fuser reset anyways.

If a new toner cartridge doesn't take care of it, replace the fuser.

SOURCE: panafax uf-895 faxes, won't print. Put a new toner

Error 021 relates to the Fuser unit (the bit that gets hot inside).
It is not related to the toner, which is a bit strange, but try switch off/on first.

Failing that you may need to clear the error in service mode. To access this:

Press "Function", "7", "Monitor" four times, then "*".

The machine should be saying "Service Mode"

Then press "7"

The machine should say "LBP Parameter Set"

(not 100% about the next bit but it should be reasonably straightforward to follow the display on the machine)

You are looking for "LBP Fuser Reset"..I think it is this:

Press "2" for "LBP Fuser Reset"

Press "Start"

The machine may reboot at this point.

If this is done correctly and the error still remains, the Fuser Unit will need replacing.

Sorry to be a bit vague on the instructions..not worked on these for a few years :)
