The image is also backwards so it basically works as if taking my picture in a mirror. It's very annoying and I would like to find out how to fix it.

Mirror Image applies to photographs taken as well as menu information.

It may sound silly, but my son had the same problem with his camera and he got fed up and hit it really hard on the front by the '5.0 megapixels sign and it fixed it!

I have a nikon coolpix s210 I can take 34 pictures and then it says out of memory, then it deletes them on the memory card. When I take the memory card out of the camera the 34 pictures are still on the...

Your camera is fine. It is not writing to the memory card...only to it's own internal memory which is very small. To get it to start writing to the card, you must get rid of the pictures in the internal memory. If you want to save them, go into the menu and find "copy" to find the choice to copy the internal memory to a card. After the process is completed, turn off the camera, remove your card, turn the camera back on and go back into the menu...find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions. After that, your card should work properly.

Every time I turn on my camera a message appears on the screen that says "write protect". What is "write protect" and how do I get rid of the message?

1) It could be your camera has write protect switched on. Go through your camera's menu and look for picture protect and remove it.

2) Your SD card could be write protected. Take out the SD card and check, there's probably a sliding notch on the left hand side, move the to write enable.

I want to post images of recipes to Evernote --image is backwards

I cannot for the life of me understand why your pictures are coming out backwards. When you take a picture of a person pointing to the left, does the picture come out with them pointing to the right?

Printing Backwards

You must have the Mirror image option turned on.

Open a document and select File>Print.

When the Print window opens, select the "Preferences" or "Properties". button.

Click on the Advanced tab. Look for the Mirror Image option. If it says "On", click on it and you will get a drop down menu to change it to "Off".

(BTW, the Mirror Image is used for printing iron-on transfers.)
