Belkin (F5D7010) 802.11a, 802.11g/b Wireless Adapter Logo
Anonymous Posted on Dec 11, 2008

Belkin f5d7010 I installed a new copy of Windows XP on my acer travelmate 250 laptop but i tried installing drivers for my network card and they installed but there's 2 lights on the card that would turn green on my last installation. But with the new installation of Windows Xp no lights are showing up. Is there a way that i would need to switch the power on for the Wireless card or should the lights show automatically? Thanks for the Help

Hi there, these cards can be alittle tricky to setup sometimes. firstly are you using the drivers on the cd that came with the product, or have you downloaded new ones from belkin? The reason i ask this is because there are many differnt models of the same card and the drivers have to be a perfect match. If you are using the original drivers then i would recommend removing the card, uninstalling the drivers and rebooting. then start the installation process again and remember DO NOT insert the card before you install the drivers as this can cause installation problems also.... hope this helps..

The driver don't work for my wireless card!

I searched online and there doesn't seem to be a driver for Windows 7 so if your using Windows 7,you won't be able to install that wireless card.

If you have Vista or below, download the latest version here: http://en-us-support.belkin.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/302/~/f5d7010-wireless-g-notebook-card---driver

Does anyone know where i can get the setup software for my belkin f5d7130 access point?

You can download the manual and quick instalation guide for the F5D7130 Wireless Network Access Point
from Belkin. No software is needed nor is supplied with the access point.

If you bought the access point bundled with the network card F5D7010, then the disk that came with it would have the drivers for the card. You can get them from Belkin also. Click here

I have my network card connected but it does not appear in device manager I'm using windows xp

Have you tried reseating the card? Sometime you have to install the drivers first before installing the card. Please revisit the install procedures.

Utility not displaying to select network

I don't know what it is with Belkin and their drivers, I have the same problem with their USB adapter. It usually takes a couple of goes to get their utility to work. When you are installing it make sure Windows is installing it from your cd and not the generic one. If you cannot uninstall it; it has not installed itself correctly. If you are unable to remove it, search the Belkin folder and manually delete, then download this free excellent programme to remove all traces of Belkin then try again. http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ If Windows 2000 driver doesn't work for you try Windows XP driver.
