I have dell latitude e6400. i want to connect nokia bluetooth with it. BT sign above F1 is on but cant find the menu of bt for pairing the headset and laptop

If it is not the D630 ATG,you may not have the blue tooth chipset.
It was an option on the other D630 models.

I see that you are having issue with your BT Nokia headset.

You mentioned that you are having issues connecting it to our PC.

You need to make sure that the Bluetooth settings on the computer is set to allow other devices to detect the computer to be able to get your Bluetooth Nokia headset working with your computer.

Look for the Bluetooth icon on the lower right side of the taskbar somewhere near the time then right click on it then select open bluetooth settings, it should open up a window for the Bluetooth on your computer then look for "Allo other devices to detect this computer" and put a check on it, click on Apply or OK, this should make your computer be detected by other BT devices such as your Nokia headset.

Bluetooth setup
You need to pair your phone with your bluetooth headset.
  1. Turn on your phone's bluetooth and search for bluetooth devices.
  2. While the phoneis searching and the BT headset is off, press and hold the call/end button on the bluetooth headset until it's light glows steadily. Do not let go until the phone finds it.
  3. Pair the devices and allow the BT headset to connect automatically.
  4. To connect, press and hold call/end button on BT headset like the one in step 2.

Didnt connect bluetooth headset to N73
Sometimes what happens is that we keep looking for BT devices without making them visible. Is it so in your case too? Go to settings of the headset and make it visible and your mobile visible to the headset. then you must pair them and also authorize them to connect without pass code etc. Then they will work.

My nokia E63 wont find bluetooth headset
I had a similar problem with my headset.. but found the solution.. I am using Jabra 2010.. ok.. so just switch "off" the headset...go to the pair menu on e63.. then switch on the headset.. and then look for new pair devices option.. voila it came up. hv been trying for almost 3 weeks before i got the sequence right.. somehow if u had switched the headset on beforehand.. it wouldnt recognise it only.. the solution is here at jabra website .. although.. they dont hv e63 listed .. but the same procedure for e71 worked fine for my handset..

Hi?
You can goto bluetooth options in samung and disconnect the BTHS and delet it from the paired device.
To pair the BT to Nokia , put the BTHS in pairing mode by pressing the push button on the bt and watch the led stops blinking.
now gp to BT options in your nokia mobile and search for BTHS.
password is 0000.
After pairing go to options and connect.
