I have a Rikki USB3 1Tb . If im not wrong it is about half a year to a year ago since i last used it. When i used it back then there was no problems at all. I have some important school work and private stuff. Which im ready to spent money on to get back. The problem is that when i set it to my laptop the light turns on, and i can hear the harddisk begins to spin as it always has done. But my laptop doestn see it. What can i do to fix it.

Try using "USB SHOW" install the software.
Note. Must be original software.

So your outside of warranty?, if your drive uses a external power adapter, you might want to try another adapter or connecting the drive directly to your computer.

To connect it directly to your computer, you would need to take the case apart and take the hard drive out, depending on what kind of connector it uses, connect it inside your desktop computer and see if it works.

If its a ide drive inside (40pin wide cable and 4pin power cable) the jumper setting needs to be set correctly, reads on the top of the drive on the diagram. On Ide if theres another device connected to the ide cable, the other one needs to be Master and the other Slave.

if its sata, you just connect it to a free sata connector and power.

The drive should come up on your computer just like any other drive.

If the drive continues to make strange noises, its most likely crashed possibly a head crash. Seems your outside of warranty, you may be able to recover some of the files by contacting the data recovery service @ the drives support website.

The drive will need to be replaced or repaired.

These drives can not be repaired at home.

Most likely A power supply problem, you can try unplugging the cord waiting 3 minutes and retrying, to see, if not the open the back and see if the caps are in good condition, even though it did this last year, could be more a problem now since last 1.5 years ago its was something else. If you don't know how to solder then time to call a repairman.

Bulbs keep blowing

You may be touching the bulb (ampule) and leaving a fingerprint on it which creats a hot spot and blows the bulbs up prematurely.

I like my 97ChevyBlazer,but I had 4 other blazer and my main problems with them Blazer are the transmissions problems,I really think the manufactor that built them transmission does a really,really poor job on them transmissions,I think its should be some type of federal or State Investigations on the manufactor who make the transmission division,they are rippin Us hard workin American peoples off ,by making a half done product that only last for probably a good year or so...There should be re-call on them transmissions for chevy Blazers and 4x4 trucks,....while I think im ready to sell my truck,im tired of dealing with this ****** all the time,that will be the last time I will buy another chevy product,Im taking my business to FORD I see until chevy can come up with a better solutions about there transmissions problems.......

Remove the main battery and power supply charger adapter from the laptop, wait a few minute to get rid of any residual charge, now install the battery, power up! if no change remove battery, next plug the power supply back in, power on, if yes! the main battery is bad and needs replacement. Had the same problems (#357) about half a year ago, send it to Canon under warranty, they fixed the problem within a week without costs, superbe service.
But..... last 2 months the error fault comes back once in a while, luckily this time restarting the printer solves it. But I am waitying for the day that it needs a fix again.....

You need to change the map location in the upper right hand corner when you are putting in the address. Maps are big and only cover so much per file. The addresses you are using are outside of the file area for the map you are on.

Samsung plasma TV, half screen is blacked out

Well, as per my last posting, I thought I would share. The problem of the bottom half of my 42 inch Samsung Plasma blacked out - meant a trip to the local TV repair shop. I have to say, they were great. I took it in and they were able to fix it after replacing a part - had my TV back in about a week. Cost was approx. $300. This was well worth it, considering how much I had paid for this TV only a few years ago. I had the repair done last month and so far, it's been great. Sorry, but I can't remember the name of the part.
