HI SueAnn The only soluton for this is to open te phone and readjust the contact board. I think, by accident or manufacturer defect, the card reader board was sitted improperly and you must be sure one thing that NEVER FORCE THE MULTIMEDIA CARD INTO THE SLOT. IT MAY BE IN THE WRONG SIDE OR DIRECTION. Once it is bent, you need to have the service. I can fix it for you at a low cost or if you can do it by yourself, I can send you the link where you can get the service picture with step by step guides to how to open the phone to fix it. My email address is [email protected]

My Sansung laptop does not recognize the memory card for my camera.

A microSD device is a digital storage device used in many Mobile Phones Cameras and MP3 players. It is a smaller version of the standard SD memory card, about one-quarter its , and has a storage capacity that ranges from 128MB to 4GB. In order for you to read files inside the microSD card using your computer, you need either a microSD card reader or a microSD card adapter. Insert the microSD card into the microSD card reader and make sure that the card is properly connected to the device. Plug the microSD card reader into a USB port in your computer and wait for the computer to recognize the device. Use a microSD card adapter to read your microSD card if you do not have a microSD card reader. A microSD adapter basically looks like a standard SD card but is designed to accommodate a microSD card to fit the SD card slot. Simply insert the microSD card into the microSD adapter and then plug the adapter into the SD slot in your computer. Plug the SD card adapter into an SD card reader if the computer you are using does not have an SD slot. Consequently, plug the SD card reader into a USB port in your computer. Use your phone to read your microSD card. Plug one end of the USB cable that comes with your camera or phone to the mini USB port in your device and plug the other end to a USB port in your computer. When you are prompted that the device is recognized, install syncing software (if applicable). Many cameras phones and MP3 players can be connected to the computer without using any software. Navigate to the location of the removable drive.
Open the folder to see if you can browse the files in the microSD card.

I have an lg800ghl phone and a 16gb ad card but my phone shows the card with an x but will not read the card

The LG800g works with microSD cards. Your 16GB card is actually a microSDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it is electronically incompatible and will only work in devices specifically designed for them. You need to use a microSD card, 2GB and smaller.

Hi, I tried to install this Transcend micro sdhc 8 GB memory card. I would have read the installation instructions, but my bionic eyes couldn't read the stupid instructions. So I inserted it properly...

You can only format a microSD card when it is unmounted. Unmounting a microSD card-To unmount a microSD card, follow the instructions below: [Menu] >Settings&tools>Press Ok key >SD card & phone storage(card memory)>Unmount SD card Formatting a microSD card>[Menu]>Settings&Tools>SD card & phone storage(card memory)>Format SD card.

I hava a memory card, SanDisk MicroSD 2Gb. When I connected it to my PC, I couldn't copy any file to this memory card, then system showed a message that this media is write-protected. I couldn't...

Here's a simply suggestion which I suspect you have already tried.
Many SD cards, such as the the one you see in the picture above, have the "lock". On the left side of your card you should see the lock. Turn the lock off and try connecting it again.
Like I said I assume this isn't your problem (since you know what a "registry" is ;) ) but the problem you described is exactly what happens when the "lock" is on. That's my first advice.
Thanks for using FixYa.

How do i get my micro sd card into the card reader?

That depends on the card reader. If the card reader is designed to accept microSD cards, the card will fit into the slot. If, as is more common, the card reader is designed to accept SD cards, you will need a microSD-to-SD adapter. One usually comes with the microSD card. It's the size of an SD card, with the contacts at one end, and a slot for the microSD card at the other end.

How to fix the balck n95 8gb ..... how put memory card pls help me....

Hi!

Locate the microSD card slot. If the screen is facing up and the front buttons are closer to you than the screen, then the slot is on the left side of the phone, close to the front keys.

Insert a microSD card into the slot. Make sure that the metal contacts on the card are facing up and towards the phone.

Hope this helps.

HTC HD2 sandisk adaptor

Okay, you have 3 pieces:
Really small piece - microSD Big piece - SD Card
Forget that black mid-sized piece, you won't be needing it.
The very small microSD card should be inserted into the phone (in the battery area in back).
That is what you will need it for, just in the phone. But if you want to ever take it out of the phone, you slide it, face up, and it fits one way only, into the large SD card with the red and blue Sandisk label. You would do this because a computer or laptop would never have a way to read the small microSD card we put in the phone, so we put it in the larger carrier and use an SD Card to access the memory card in our computers if we need to.
Basically for me, my microSD card is in my phone 24/7. It stores all my files documents music etc in my phone. I have the 2 larger pieces but never use them, just install it in your phone, and carefully, you need it.
