How old is the system? DO CDs work when you try them? Put a disk in... remembering the position it was in.. Then try to play the disk... Eject if it does not play and look to see if it has moved to a different position... If not, there is a motor problem or the laser is not sensing the disk being there.
Have you ever opened up the main box of the system? Has anyone else been inside it?
If yes, then maybe it is time to do it again to observe if there is movement of the laser pickup..
I am looking to play movies through USB in Sony DAV-DZ270 without looking to buy or upgrade to any other Home theater system. Is there any firmware or software update to play movies through USB? Or can the Sony people fix my requierment?
I have the LG lht854 home theater system and a LG42LG 40' LCD television which we purchased about 30 day’s ago. 20 minutes through watching a movie the picture cuts out on the screen for a couple seconds but not the sound /and then comes back it does this throughout the movie. We have tried different DVD’s but get the same results. This problem just started 10 days ago. What can we do?
