Camera of this type are usually considered-'Consumable'
Like small radio DVD players toaster and kettles if it gets broken you buy the next one.
If it fail in service under warranty is it replaced complete - there will be no parts.
Duct Tape can come in very useful for this type of thing

I had the same problem, apparently if you're using a external memory card that can cause this problem...

I didn't know that but I contacted Samsung and got mine repaired.

They put a note in saying the power board was faulty in the camera.


Much, much better now can take pictures like I used to be able to!

Hello there Jose! Take your camera to a Walmart or camera store and ask for a rechargeable battery and charger for your camera.. It will cost a few dollars now but you will be able to recharge the new battery many, many times for a couple of pennies.

Does your battery work with regular AA alkaline batteries ? They have higher voltage than NiMH rechargeable. I'm having a similar problem, just discovered today that my camera works fine with AA alkaline batteries.
