Question about Mag Innovision LT776s 17" LCD Monitor
Sympton: When I boot up my computer, the power light on my LCD comes on and flashes for a few minutes or more before the LCD comes on. Possible problem identification: In the upper lefthand corner of my screen there is a blue rectangle that reads: Top Left to Right: SH770 P001 Bottom Left to Right: AU M170EN05
Where can I download the monitor driver for Mag Product # LT776, Model # 780. Thanks a lot.

Reading these forums. I pressed auto and power at the same time (or was it auto, power and menu?), anyhow, the monitor turned off. then I turned it back on and the "menu" was in the center and then gone.
Also having the screen-going-black, taking a few minutes to turn on. Will see if that fixed it

I have the same problem except it usually happens after Ive left my computer idle for a while... i.e . Overnight, I usually turn off the monitor and I hit the button after I come back to turn it on. I get the same flashing light for several minutes. This has been a problem for several months, but only recenly have i gotten the same error message you mentioned. Each time ive booted the computer up cold or restarted it has worked fine but this time it took longer along with displaying the message: Top Left to Right: SH770 P001 Bottom Left to Right: AU M170EN05 Anyone else who can clear this up?

Just a follow up- from reading some similar entries pertaining to the green blinking light, it seems that there may be something may be wrong with the LCD monitor power supply... beyond that I cant be sure or make any good guess, because it seems with the blue message hanging out in the top left of the monitor, that we are unique or at least I havent found anything very pertainent on the internet when doing a search... Has anything else changed since you started seeing that message? Has the message gone away or remained in the monitor every time you've rebooted? Just trying to see what I'm in for.
For what its worth... I've also had a minor, seemingly unrelated problem with a few pixels being out of place and flickering in the bottom right corner of the screen. This hasnt hindered use of my computer as its hardly noticable, but its been around since not long after I bought it in around 2004-05.
more reasearch - AU is an electronics corporation which appears to manufacture the lcd display component of the monitor with the model # M170EN05
I cant make anything out of the top numbers except the possiblity that they may describe electronic components.

I also have the same problem. I am wondering if it has to do with the Vista version of Windows. Is everyone having this problem running Vista?
In the upper lefthand corner of my screen there is a blue rectangle that reads:
Top Left to Right: SH770 P001
Bottom Left to Right: AU M170EN05
I have a Mag In**vision LT717s purchase less than 12 months ago. Now when I turn on the desktop Windows XP tries to run and the monitor suddenly blacks out and a blue box appears that says "mode **t supported" I can hear the computer but can ** longer see anything.
I hooked up a**ther monitor and everything is fine. Any suggestions on if the LT717s is salvagable?
My MAG LT776S did the same thing. blinking a while before the screen came on. I don't know for sure how I fixed it but I opened my computer blew out all of the dust. re hooked all of the connections then unplugged the power cord from the base of the monitor and plugged it back in. It started working properly after that.
