i did have the same problem with no audio driver after intalled my m2000 too- but after i did make a online update of the driver install - the computer did find it and did install it automatic.and now it works perfect.

Go down to the Compaq Presario heading. (Sixth line down)
Scroll across, and click on M2000.

This is a PDF file. It may take as long as 30 seconds before the first page comes up.

(Suggestion: Save it to your computer. Burn a copy off to CD disk. Run the disk to see if it's good, then delete it off of your computer to save harddrive space)

You can download the audio and device drivers from the Compaq/HP WEBsupport/download page. Make sure you select your model laptop and the Windowsdrivers you require and install them. Click on this link to download thedrivers: -

i,d say no. This model of screen is for gateway MS20S-MS325X-M520.
Or Some Models Of:- Toshiba-Fujitsu-Siemens-Dell.
If you think about attempting the swap, check the cable connectors. and wiring. also ensure the inverter boards are the same or equivalent. if the panel is not identical or a suitable manufactured replacement. you may damage your computers motherboard.

If its a trial edition either you have to pay.
or do a system restore and restore the data, starting over to continue to use it.
you might want to try the free version from www.openoffice.org
if you can only use office for you files microsoft has free viewers for any office product on their site.
