Question about Bosch 24 in. SHU66C05 Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher
My Bosch dishwasher has never really been that good, often leaving a gritty residue in dishes on the top rack even when a light load. However, it has now more or less died. On the intensive programme instead of going to 98 minutes, it is only going to 33 minutes. All the programmes are the same except the Eco wash and Fast wash which go to 46 minutes and 18 minutes respectively but as with the other programmes no water comes in the machine and it just sounds like it's pumping water out all the time, except there's no water to pump out. The water heater seems to be working but that is the only thing that is working. The machine is less than 5 years old. Any suggestions? We live in a hard water area in the UK.
Re: the gritty residue Check your spray arms. My Bosch arms clog regularly with little things. I have to unscrew the arm and run water through. Then I must pull out the food particle - usually a seed or kernel. Very frustrating as I do scrap garbage off before running the cycle. Would I buy another Bosch? Nope!

Drain pump is running all time. cause is a leak. remove bottom front panel and mop out water or can also tilt at 45deg and water shud run out. machine shud then run but you then hav to find leak

I have the same problem lot of gritty residue on dishes more work to clean it after taking it out of the dishwasher. also a strong odor in dishwasher.
I also take out the arms and flush. This dishwasher should be removed from the market.my dishwasher is less that three years old.
my bosch initially was great, now after just one year it leaves a film on all glasses and the dishes and silverware are not coming out clean. I frequently clean the filter and have noticed standing water in the filter drain- is this normal?
I have the same problem, fine grit on all the dishes, some standing water in the bottom of the dishwasher. Ive tried cleaning the filter, scapping the dishes before I put in ,running the dishwasher empty.Never buy a BOSH!!!!
grit on most of my glasses even when scraped before loading
The programme is now 3hours and 15 minutes. Change programme to shorter.
