Hello, I am having a problem with the display flickering on start up. Kind of like a vertical hold problem on the old sets. The colors seem to change until the set is warmed up. It seems to be taking longer and longer for this problem to clear.About 15 minutes. It is more than likely a board problem?? I was told that any one of the boards cost was about 500.00 or more. Because it is an older set i didn't want to put to much into it. I was hoping that maybe it was something that happens on all pfm42b2 sets and had an easy fix. Any help would be great. Call Sony at 1-877-650-3477 and tell them what happened. they SHOULD send a shipper to your doorstep free of charge to come pick it up and take it sony, where they should fix it free of charge, because this is a MFR defect that has happened to hundreds of this model. Trust me, I know I just did it yesterday :)
