Hard to say without knowing more, but many tuners have a squelch function that "mutes" the output unless the signal level reaches a certain threshold. You might want to look at the control panel and search for such a switch and de-activate it.
You didnt say if this was connected to an external pre-amp or a power amp. If so, the issue could be simply one of the correct cabling and selector switch setting
you need to run the active x, click on the notification run / install it then last fm should play ones its installed. Try with Internet explorer, it might not work with all browsers properly.
Hi iPods do not come with FM tuners. FM tuners can be bought and added on as an extra feature, but this is a third party device, not an iPod device.
Generally, when you connect the third party FM tuner to the iPod, the iPod will recognize it and you can use the 3rd party FM tuner to change stations.
If you do not have the FM tuner to connect to the iPod, the individual that sold you the iPod did not include the FM tuner to connect to the the iPod. In that case, the Menu will still list the FM tuner, but there is no device to connect to the iPod.
Press far right button (play/stop) and hold it down for about 3-4 seconds. Now press A--B button (3rd button from right) and audio play shows on the screen. Press this button one more time and FM radio shows on the screen. Then press far right button and FM can now be tuned in. You can also download the instructions from www.sandisk.com
