My philips 32" tv clicks when press the power button then
if you continue to press the power button a picture will come on when the tv will turn its self off again you keep repeating the process and it will stay on for about 20 minutes then go off again. What could be the problem?? its very annoying!

The primary power supply is good,maybe the horizontal output transistor is deffective thats why there is no high voltage supply in the picture tube because theflyback have no supply voltage and oscilation.So check the harizontal output transistor and replace if deffective.
Look on ur tv remote control for a button that said like Viewmode,Aspect Ratio,Picture Size or Zomming.Used one of these buttons keep pressing until the format of the picture that fit on the tv screen panel that u like?

hello. ok try this. first take the remote's out of the room the tv is in.!!! yes both of them. then i want you to turn the tv on with the power button on the front of the set. and tell me what .? happen's..and please dont try to turn thechannel or any thing else !!! .just turn it on.!!! If you dont have the codes for a philips universal remote you have to press code search and TV at the same time till the led light stays on. Then press the power button a few times untill the power turns your TV off, then press the OK button. After that the code should be in the remote.
