My old epson stylus color 670 and vista

After long and frustrating 3 days here's what an Epson expert suggested I do - and it's the only thing that worked: If you're not using any other epson printer, go to HD>Library> and trash the whole EPSON folder If you're are using other EPSON printers go to HD>Library> and look for the "xxxxxx.plugins", where xxxxx is the name of your printer. Trash it! Then go to HD>User>"ussername">Library>Preferrence, "ussername is your login name to your computer. It's in a folder form. Delete anything w/ a COM.APPLE.PRINT. prefix(i.e: COM.APPLE.PRINT.PLIST or COM.APPLE.PRINT.PRINTSERVER) Restart your computer and after that empty the trash. Download the driver for your printer from www.support.epson.com to install the printer and install it. Under the PRINTERS heading select INK JETS and then the Stylus Photo R1800. Under the DRIVERS & DOWNLOADS section select MACINTOSH. Select and download the following file: Printer Driver v3.0aAs Intel-based Macs with OS X (v10.4.4 or later) epson11769.dmg Install this by clicking the epson11769.dmg icon on your desktop run the installer icon as soon as install is complete hit quit and restart mac go to printer setup utlity and add the printer do a test print from word editting applications(like text edit or MS word for mac) b4 printing go to file> page set up and change the "format for" top the R1800 click ok then go to file and PRINT

printing with the processor type and speed has nothing to do with printing capabilities, you need a driver that rightly correspond to your Operating system, say Vista, Windows XP, or Win 7
kindly check this area, and install the appropriate driver.
