You need a MAC driver disk or download.
If you don't have a disk, you can download the driver from the Epson site. I've added the direct links to the relevant downloads below, providing your Mac is connected to the internet.
These drivers are only for the Epson CX6400 on Macintosh operating systems.
If you are using version Mac OS 7.6 to 9.2, here's a direct link to the driver download: http://esupport.epson-europe.com/ProductHome.aspx?lng=en-GB&data=SF8cgjsfr7Nsto14LFsNUjuRSXBZZOHy&tc=6
If you are using Mac OS X - Intel, here's the direct link: http://esupport.epson-europe.com/ProductHome.aspx?lng=en-GB&data=SF8cgjsfr7M6qoJ6uYEojoMzz9oApk7e5aobGaUtdawU003D&tc=6
If you are using Mac OS X - PowerPC, here's the direct link: http://esupport.epson-europe.com/ProductHome.aspx?lng=en-GB&data=SF8cgjsfr7Prg898nyvz3fMP+q1RgJB+&tc=6
Once you've downloaded the driver, it may be a ZIP file so unpack it where you can find it and double click the setup.exe file or program icon that unpacked.
This will install the drivers to your Mac computer.
You'll be asked to make sure the printer is plugged in and connected to the computer at some stage so that it can communicate with it and complete the installation.
Good luck
Nigel
