When I try to add the printer, it immediately pops up in the dialog box. But when I click to add it, I get an error message and I cannot add the printer. I have been told that Dell drivers are for Intel Macs only and not PowerPC. I have also been told there is an equivalent Lexmark driver that WILL work, but I do not know what that might be. Any other ideas? Thanks! James
Go to lexmark site for a mac driver.

download Gassan-Mac-9-MR2RC2.sit from dell site (printer site, drivers, mac os) and unpack it with stuffit expander.
it contains drivers for mac os 9 and mac os x.
then just install it and select driver from the list when adding modifying printer

Hi, The problem here is that the CD has an older version of
the driver which has some known issues. Few steps will be required to fix this.

Well, Dell doesn't list a Mac driver for that printer on their website, so I don't believe it's Mac compatible

- Try to obey all instructions and sequence that is described in "Download section".
- If you still have problems you need to:

- Install the driver, and reboot.
