Display shows nothing.no indicator lights on the control panel at any time.no lights when the door is opened, checking with the ohm meter it shows power is getting to the dryer and to the connections, pressing the buttons on any of them gets no responce. I really appreciate your help.

When checking for power and light in dryer I found the bulb to be burned out. put in new bulb and revisited your earlier suggestion saying if the light is on in the dryer and all else checks out then it must be a bad control board,I sure agree, and sorry for being so stupid not to check the light bulb. There was a lot of effort on your part to help me, and I sure appreciate it.
I have ordered a new control board.

Slats Does display shows anything? Does any indicator light on the control panel lights up? When you open the door did you see the light comes on? If nothing happens, there is a problem with the power source from the outlet or the power cord not connected properly (possible burned out wires) to the dryer. If you see the light inside the dryer, then the problem is a bad control board. Let me know and do not place a new question. Just put a comment and I'll get e-mail notification. Gendos...post back

I still believe the problem is the power source. How did you measure the power from the outlet? It's supposed to be 120V between each hot leg and neutral, and 240V between two hot legs. Let me know what you find.

Electrolux dryer EWMED65HSS isn't starting- There isn't any noise when I turn the knobs- display panel does initial light up but nothing shows on it. Any suggestions? Already checked power cord

Check your power supply/plug in outlet for proper voltage, e.g. 240 volts or 120 volts on portable dryers first. if that checks out, the next thing to check is the door switch, followed by the thermal limiter. Always disconnect power from its source before attempting diagnosis or disassembly.

This link can help if you need to go beyond that.

Have a PYE2300AY dryer power to timer

If you have power at the outlet and none at the door switch, check the thermal fuse. It should be behind the drum on the heater housing. It should have continuity through it. If it doesn't, it won't run.

Go to www.repairclinic.com and enter your model number and it will show you all your parts, but I suggest you change your thermostats and basically have the dryer cleaned out of possible lint build up on the interior

Neptune Dryer

My maytag neptune dryer quit heating, after my wife changed the temp setting on the console from regular, to extra low drying temperature. The heating element reads 10.5 ohms. The thermal cutoff reads 0.02 ohms. The hi-limit thermo reads 0.02 ohms. The power coming into the dryer is 240 volts. What can I check or need to replace.
