Drum light stays on after having replaced the drum unit

Since my drum light was on for a while yet, I decided to replace the drum unit. After having done that following the instructions, the drum warning light is still on. Is there a procedure to put some counter or sensor back to zero or what do I have to do to make it go off?

Have the same problem and tried the solution of depressing the button until all LEDs were on but didn't fix the problem. Is there another solution? GeoffM.

I have a problem with my Ricoh Aficio 2022sp. It leaves a black line when I copy or print anything.

Something around the drum need to be replaced. There are two ways to be done. Because Ricoh do not offer a replacement by parts around the drum unit for this machine by Ricoh you can only replace the hole drum unit. But as you say you have a problem with the drum cleaning blade, or in worse case the drum and the cleaning blade for the drum need to be replaced. So Katun offers a replacement by parts and by Katun is more cheap to be replaced. This is what is the problem, so on your hand is what are you gonna decide.
