Check the back of your set there are 2 Audio RCA Jacks, You can't do it with an amplifier alone because that won't split the channels to 4. You have to go to a surround sound receiver.

SOURCE: vizio tv not turning on

Are you getting any power (vizeo in ft of the set should be amber) If it is not you will need to replace the power board . If the set powers up with no picture then you will have to replace the main board.

SOURCE: The built in speakers for my vizio tv arent good.

Yes, you can. There should be a fix or variable output. I would do a variable output, so when you turn up the tv, it will turn up the speaker. If you do a fixed, you have a surround unit.

How to install the base

This direct link will take you to the manual for your TV:
http://www.manualowl.com/m/Vizio/P50HDTV10A/Manual/230976
You will need Adobe Reader installed on your computer to view it, since this is a .PDF file.

Page 6 illustrates the removal of the base for wall mounting; of course you need to reverse the process for the base mount.

Good luck!

I have a Vizio Flat Screen TV. I have speakers in all the rooms in my home. Can the TV be hooked up to the speakers with any success?

Hello,

yes, the TV can be hooked to the speakers, but you will be needing a receiver (amplifier).

Check your TV, if you will have any earphone input space. If you find it on the TV, then it means job is half done.

Get a 3.5mm to RCA cord, connect the 3.5mm part to your TV's earphone space (if any), then connect the RCA part (Red and White) to input (Aux/Video/CD in etc) at the back of your receiver (amplifier) or deck, select the input (Aux/Video/CD in etc) on your sound system (receiver/amplifier) and sound should come out of the speakers.

Also, you can use this same method, but this time with a different wire which is RCA to RCA.

Connect the RCA (Red and white, to "Output" or 'Out' at the back of the TV, then connect the other part to the "Input" of your sound system (receiver/amplifier).

Good luck.

Which speaker wires feed which speakers throughout my house?

Since this is a custom install and the wires don't follow a rule the only way to find which is which is to disconnect all the remaining speakers, plug in light bulbs in their places and check every single pair till they all match and their corresponding bulb lights up.

How do you connect an amplifier with stereo output to whole house speakers, which aren't paired?

You need to get the multi room speaker distribution box, it will allow you hook up many speakers without damaging your amplifier. You will overload the amplifier if too many speakers are attached to amplifier.

How to connect an audio system to TV

You really can't add too much since the set's amplifier was designed to work with the internal speakers. What you'd be better off doing is buying a stereo receiver (or a home-theater system) and a couple of sets of speakers. Feed the audio output from the TV (on the rear or side, wherever they are on your set) to one of the receiver's inputs and you're off and running. You'll get more flexibility with a setup like this as well. If you don't want to watch TV you could still use the system for radio or CD playing as well.

I need to set up 4 pair of speakers, two zones. all ceiling mounted.

Okay! all ceiling mounted speakers. I don't know about 4 pair of speakers. Here is the load down:
First pair of ceiling speakers would be left and right front from speaker A or Main output behind your receiver.
Second ONE,but a pair would be connect to the center channel output as your center speaker.
Another pair would be connect to the surround sound left and right(NOT surround BACK left/right.)
Now,you have 5 channel setup at this point, you still need to purchase a power subwoofer to the SUB PRE-OUTPUT behind your Denon receiver.

For Zone two,you would need to connect your other pair of speakers to surround BACK left and right output.
Go to your Denon MENU button, depending on which model you have, some of them will have an on-screen display feature(you would need to have a composite video cable connect from the video output behind your receiver to the TV video input in order to use the on screen menu.)If not,you would have to it view on the front panel of the A/V receiver.
You need to read the detail on how to setup the video and audio as well as distance and DB for the receiver through the menu button.
I will be frank with you,if you are an amateur,Denon is NOT easy to be setup on the first time.

Yamaha v-663 reciever

Most amps will only power two sets of speakers direcrly hooked to amp (A&B). If you want audio throughout the house, I would recommend a PA system set up with individual room volume controls

Bose amplifier does not work with a 6 speaker selector

your wall speakers may not be connected.... disconnect each speaker from the selector box and test with a small AAA battery to see if they are connected by putting the battery between each speaker's wires , you will hear it crackle ,then gradually connect each wall speaker onto the speaker connector box . If the first set does not work i suggest there may be a problem with your speaker selector box . Good luck
