Re: TV changes channel changed before all numbers entered...
Possibly you're not putting the numbers in fast enough.
If you are then there maybe a problem with the microprocessor responding too quickly to commands.
I've never seen this problem before, but my TV will do the same thing if I don't get the numbers in fast enough.

there may be a problem with the tvs remote sensor. most universal remotes you dont even have to enter any codes you just have to follow the same steps to enter the code but instead of entering a code all you have to do is press the channel up button after following all other steps, just keep pressing up until it turns the channel on the tv then press enter or similar button after it changes the channel and this should lock in the code without entering a specific code. And if all other remotes only half the buttons work on if it happens with every universal remotes then it probably a problem with the remote sensor or the tv . Good luck too ya!!!
You will need to complete a channel scan from the tvs menu. I assume you have basic cable and that your cable company is still providing analog channels for you to be able to pick up any transmission on this telvision with the digital changeover and all.
