Sharp tv 70 inch wont turn on blinking 5 times fast 2 times slow

Which model do you have because the blink code differs from model to model. Did you try a hard reset? Meaning, unplug the unit, wait a minute or two, then holding the power switch down, plug the unit back in while still holding the power switch down. When it comes back on, release the button.

Hi I have a panasonic split air conditioner. It turns itself off immediately after turning on, the timer button then flashes and that's all.... I have checked for an error code it is H00. I have also made...

Hi Tania,
Have you gone through this checking sequence.? it's from a Panasonic a/c manual. It could be something as simple as a clogged filter. Once you have rectified the fault, you will probably have to clear the fault code as described at bottom below, before it will condescend to work again.
David
  • Once error occurred during operation, the unit will stop its operation, and Timer LED blinks.
  • Although Timer LED goes off when power supply is turned off, if the unit is operated under a breakdown condition, the LED will ON again.
  • In operation after breakdown repair, the Timer LED will not blink. The last error code (abnormality) will be stored
    in IC memory.
14.2.2 To Make a Diagnosis

  1. 1 Timer LED starts to blink and the unit automatically stops the operation.
  2. 2 Press the CHECK button on the remote control continuously for 5 seconds.
  3. 3 "- -" will be displayed on the remote control display.
Note: Display only for "- -" (No signal transmission, no receiving sound and no Power LED blinking)
  4. 4 Press the TIMER ? or ? button on the remote control. The code "H00" (no abnormality) will be displayed and signal will be transmit to the main unit.
  5. 5 Each press of the button (? or ?) will increase error code number and transmit error code signal to the main unit.
  6. 6 When the latest abnormality code on the main unit and code
transmitted from the remote control are matched, Power LED will
light up for 30 seconds and a "beep" sound (continuously for 4
seconds) will be heard. If no codes are matched, Power LED will light up for 0.5 seconds and no sound will be heard.
  7. 7 The breakdown diagnosis mode will be canceled unless pressing the CHECK button continuously for 5 seconds or operating the unit for 30 seconds.
  8. 8 The LED will be off if the unit is turned off or the RESET button on the main unit is pressed.
14.2.3 To Display Memorized Error Code (Protective Operation)
  1. 1 Turn power on.
  2. 2 Press the CHECK button on the remote control
  3. 3 "- -" will be displayed on the remote control display. Note: Display only for "- -" (No signal transmission, no receiving sound and no Power LED blinking)
  4. 4 Press the TIMER ? or ? button on the remote control. The code "H00" (no abnormality) will be displayed
and signal will be transmit to the main unit.
  5. 5 Each press of the button (? or ?) will increase error code number and transmit error code signal to the main
    unit.
  6. 6 When the latest abnormality code on the main unit and code transmitted from the remote control are matched,
Power LED will light up for 30 seconds and a "beep" sound (continuously for 4 seconds) will be heard. If no
codes are matched, Power LED will light up for 0.5 seconds and no sound will be heard.
  7. 7 The breakdown diagnosis mode will be canceled unless pressing the CHECK button continuously for 5
seconds or operating the unit for 30 seconds.
  8. 8 The same diagnosis can be repeated by turning power on again.
14.2.4 To Clear Memorized Error Code after Repair (Protective Operation)

  1. 1 Turn power on (in standby condition).
  2. 2 Press the AUTO button for 5 seconds (a "beep" sound is heard) on the main unit to operate the unit at Forced Cooling Operation Mode.

Not turn on i do not have 24v. Was watching TV for three hours when I was finished the set would not turn off from either remote or front panel. Unplugged unit and left overnight. When I plugged the unit...

Good Day,
The most common problem with this Model is the Caps on the Main Board, but to make sure pull the codes. Follow this procedure:
This model is equipped with a self-diagnosis feature to help with diagnosis of shutdown problems. To activate this turn the unit on let it shutdown then press the input/device and menu buttons on the front panel simultaneously and hold them in for 5 seconds after 5 seconds the power LED on the front panel will blink a two digit sequence. This will be one set of blinks a short pause then another set of blinks, this will repeat 5 times. 1 - 2 = no error detected 2 - 1 = X-ray protect (high voltage or beam current) 2 - 2 = Short protect (short protect monitors low voltage supplies) 2 - 3 = Deflection protect (this could be loss of vertical or horizontal deflection) 2 - 4 = Vertical protect (usually loss of vertical from the source) 1. MAY BE INTERMITTENT, SELF-DIAGNOSIS ERROR 23 OR 24. CHECK SOLDER CONNECTIONS AT CONNECTOR "DY" ON THE YOKES. 2. SHUTDOWN AT POWER WITH SELF-DIAGNOSIS ERROR 23 OR 24. CHECK C411 2200 UFD 35 V AND C412 10 UFD 50 V, BOTH LOCATED ON THE MAIN PCB. Good Luck, big IRISH.

Sounds as thought you have a dead B+ from the power supply board. Replacement of the board should be a certain fix. The power supply could be fixed with the help of a good service technician. I hope this has helped.

Pioneer PDP 5030 power supply problem

Ok here's how I manage solve the problem... Having the back removed opens the contacts on the interlock switch so I guess if it powers up in this state it senses the high voltages are exposed and for safety shuts down... After this the unit will not power up and the power led flashes red continuously as described before…
After some thought it occurred to me that there may not be a problem at all, just be a simple reset function for this condition… I managed to find an easy solution to this… Just call up the hidden engineer’s service menu – On 3rd generation Pioneer Plasmas it’s as follows > Power down the screen > Hold down the “Input” and “Vol +” buttons on the front > Power the screen up and the Service menu comes up on the screen > You don't need to change anything just simply power off and from then the screen should operate as normal…It did for me so I’m well happy now!!
I hope this information will help someone else one day – Good Luck!!…Rob UK…
