My cassete wount go inside.. Camera not responding
Well, what should I do now.. the cover is open (that cover were the hand strap is attached) and the tape-slide-in system just wont slide in.. The camera is not responding at all.. I tried charging it, and taking the battery in and out... But still no response.. Im pretty confused..
Its just standing on my shelf with that cover open the slider slided out, and the MiniDV cassette poped in.. but no sliding in action further..
Please any advice what should I do.. some mechanical screwing or something to get the tape out.. okey, please tell me what to do..

Open totally the cassete look for paper jam inside that might cover the sensor.
Remove cassete and look for black plastic actuator located on top of paper when cassete is inserted, it might be broken.
If all are ok , press as follow to reset the malfunction [off] while pressing [ Utility/Counter] turn [On] wait till the display appear then [trouble reset] it will appear OK on screen turn OFF/ON main power.
the very thin part of the strap...twist it as you slide it under the bar.You may need a safety pin to catch it and bring it all the way to the other side. take your finger and open the end that you slid through...and slide the handle part through it..and pull. Not sure what bar code you are typing of...
I got the solution from your net only. Thanks it is wotking presently.you have to do simply take out the cassete and keepp the cassete door open. And then take both the battery out i,e one main battery and another small battery and leave camera in this psoition for two hrs and tehn place back battery in its position and then load cassete .It will work.I have tested it.Thanks a lot.
First things first, the small piece that holds the strap, when broken is repairable, but it is best that you dont since there is a strong possibility that the line will give up. the best options you may have to look for are camera pouches that are designed for the camera.
take off the battery and plug it in to the wall, it it moves or resets then try to close it like you use to, if not make sure the out side cover is open all the way, or if cover is attached to holder try to gently giggle it or see if something is hung up inside
