Television will not turn on as well

I'm having the exact same problem as the gent previous but I'm looking to fix it myself if possible. Is there a particular manual that describes what I'll need to do with the high voltage area? Since I've never fixed a television before is this a very difficult fix? Anyhow I'm psyched that you provide assistance and appreciate any help. Thanks.

Hello pro-100/200 owners..My Pro-200 would shut-off at times, also no picture, remote didn't work...Found all vertical standing
boards had come loose from main board connectors on left side
of main circut board..(as viewed from rear)..I removed main board
w/power unplugged, marked connectors, removed vertical boards
fastening screws from frame..Then reseated all boards..also checked for broken soder-joints on bottom of main horizontal board.Reassembled ++ w/several long cable ties put together, secured all vertical boards to horizontal chassis..All problems
disappeared.. Hope this helps w/ your "Fix"(note: I'm a former TV
tech, so be careful if you are unsure of This repair.)

Sound like a fuse inside. Look for a glass fuse about one inch long and with a steel cap at each end and it is about 1/2" round.

Check the smart panel program for the exact cause of the printer fault. My guess would be the waste toner tank needs to be clean/replaced. Hope this helps you.

take back off and check if fuse has blown. replace fuse with exactly same type and size. if fuse blows again it is unlikely to be the on-off switch.you may be lucky and fuse doesn't blow. tv will start up.

42PD6600A and EXT-6

I have the same problem with my 42PD6600. Spoke to the gents at Hitachi who tell me there is no automatic way to do this so you have to scroll manually to the correct source via the remote.

Pop fuse when pluged in

yes it may very well be the horizontal output transistor or the voltage regulator ic or a shorted rectifier diode on the power supply or the b+ capacitor on the powersupply good luck

I have a 52 inch sony rear projection tv, model number kp61s75 with a convergence problem, can i fix it myself or do i need a tv repair man to fix it?

you can go into the menu and manually adjust the convergence it will look better most likely but a television should always be converged by a professional when first bought any way because they can do things we at home cant. i have mine done by a professional once a year and do it myself once a month to maintain the best possible picture. good luck
