The SGH-E715 is dual-band and designed to work in North American and run on the 900 / 1900 GSM bands. However, in Europe, we run on the 900 / 1800 GSM bands.

Phone the U-K from U-S-A

If you have a world phone, you should have more than one slot for a
data/sim card. You may buy a sim with a provider in the States, and set up an International plan, for while you are here to call home.

Just place the sim card in the other slot. You can only have one active at a time, so just turn off the European one, while here. Make sure you save your contacts list to your phone, so that regardless of which sim is active, you have access to your contacts list in the phone.

If you only have one sim card slot, when you get here... get a compatible sim card. If your phone is a CDMA and has no sim cards,
buy a Tracfone for cheap, and get an International call package....
Hope this helps.

I would suspect the problem lies with your cell phones network settings, but since I am in the USA I have no first hand knowledge of what the settings should be I suggest you contact your cell phones service provider and ask if the technical dept can provide the correct set up settings so you can go on the UK network.

Will my uk samsung j700i work in the usa

Hi,
your Mobile spports 2G Network GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 type of networks.
So confirm weather the networks present in US is this kind. If so then your mobile can be used in US.
If still its not working in US, then your mobile may be locked to UK operators. In this case you have to perform a network unlock in a mobile service center.
I hope this information helps you.
Please rate the solution provided.
Thanks

Cant make or receive calls from my cect i68+phone

I know how to get the problem solved for your guys, if you don't mind contact me. You will have to change IMEI number for this phone. Becase the network providers in UK blocked the IMEI nubmers.Contact me by email, i will send you the instruction and Software.
[email protected]

I also want to make a test to see if that is the real problem before I start to sell this phone in U.K, so we can help each other.

Not signal or network

Rather than leave the phone to 'roam' on it's own, select a particular Network manually.
