Brother sx-400 eraser not working

My typewriter is a brother sx-400 I was trying to fix my eraser but for some reason it's not working. the tape isnot on reverse and the spools are on place on each side so I don't know what is the cause of this. 'please help. thanks

It can only use the brother dry lift-off # 3015, I think, shining side faces you.

It keeps beeping when its on and wont work

Be sure you remove all packing materals. Check Printwheel, correction tape and ribbon installation. Be sure the carrier will move back and forth all the way.

When I press the "correct" button, nothing erases. How do I fix this?

If the T/W is going thru the lift off movements the correction tape may be installed with the wrong side towards the paper. Dull side towards the paper.

Lift Off tape is not working we bought brand labeled for Brother typewriters. It fits but does not lift off.

Possibly the tape is not on correctly. the dull side of the tape must be toward the paper.
