Re: Camera Hi! i have a black Casio Exilim EX-Z60, and it was fine. i had left it with a friend for a few days and just got it back. My battery is completely dead, seeing as it was dead when i left it at my friends. I have the travel charger for it, so i put the battery in to charge, and usually the light stays red, but all night it's been flashing on and off. I left it in the charger for about 8 hours, and tried it in my camera and it still isn't charged. i don't know what to do or what may be wrong. If it's the charger or the battery. Help! Thanks in advance!

When did you purchase your camera? If it was less than one year you can call Casio Tech Support and tell them your battery will not charge. They will require you to send in your battery and they may be able to replace it for you. If it has been over one year then they are going to suggest you just buy a new battery. I believe with this camera they will also recommend that you send in the charger and the power cord.

The EXZ60 came either way. It either came with a cradle that the entire camera sat in or else it came with a battery charger that the battery sat it.

This is the lens focus gears. They are either knocked out of alignment, or debris has jammed them.

Casio EXILIM ZOOM EX-Z60... Problem

The power leads that are soldered from the main circuit board to the LCD are near the lens assembly ( about 7 o'clock). Did you break one of these? If so, it will need to be resoldered.
