When I bought my camera I got the memory card also. I put the memory card in the camera so all the pictures that I took should have gone on the memory card, right? Not mine. I went to take pictures off of the memory card and there was only 4 pictures on it.Some how all the other 96 pictures are stored on the cameras memory. The camera is only suppose to hold like 26? pictures or so. I then figured I could take them off the camera.Somewhere along the way my USB cord got missed placed.I have gone to stores and nobody sales a small enough one for the camera. Help.I just want to get my pictures. Is there a way to tranfer from the cameras memory to the memory card? Thanks Heidi

TRANSFERRING PHOTOS TO COMPUTER If your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device oran external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card andcopy the photos to your computer.Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. Youcan copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off yourmemory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing anyprograms.
I think you mean you want to transfer pictures from the internal memory to the memory card. I don't know if there is a function to do this on your camera, but on the cameras I am familiar with, there is not.
However, if what you want to accomplish is to get your pictures from internal memory into your computer, there is a way. Simply remove the memory card from your camera before connecting the camera to your computer with the USB lead. The computer will then see the camera's internal memory instead of the card memory, and you can copy the pictures over.
If you have been accessing your pictures by removing the card from the camera and placing it in a card reader attached to your computer, then this won't work for pictures in the internal memory. You will need to use the other method, connecting the camera to the computer with the USB lead.
When you take pictures without the internal card , they get stored inside the camera internal memory (usually 8 or 16 MB only).
Connect the camera to a computer using a data cable, without putting any memory card inside the camera. The camera internal memory will be displayed as a new external usb disk on computer.
i know its not ideal but why dont you borrow a friends camera and usb lead, put your card into their camera and upload them onto your computer via their camera, at least then you can save your special pictures and rectify the problem later
use a sd memory card reader-no software-plug and play-make sure you don't have 2 folders in camera storing pics in different places-check in menus for folder numbers
Try putting the card in the camera and in the menu, select 'FORMAT' this will totally wipe the memory card, ready for use. You will find plenty replacement cables on Ebay, for about £7.00-8.00
