Resetting the Printer
SOURCE: Canon MP780
i have taken the time to research this question on your behalf, the thing is the configuration on the canon needs resetting and also the data chip needs replacing, this process cost's alot more money than what the printer is actually worth, so my advise, buy a new one unless you have it under warranty, take it back
