For completing alignment both print cartridges need print in good quality. After the alignment page is printing put it on the scanner glass to way as shown on the page and press scan button. If not help replace the cartridges and try again.
You'll need to scan the alignment page. See instructions here. For any other issues, please also see the home support page here and consult the solve a problem section for detailed instructions and the capacity to search particular errors.

The only way to stop this is to press the cancel button, just as it tries to print the test page.
Various people have said the printer won't align (calibrate) successfully unless both ink cartridges are more than 50% full, and until it aligns successfully, it will continue to print the test page on start-up.
It is a total waste of ink and paper, so remember to hit the cancel button when you turn it on.
I've not worked with one of these cables before, but here's what I would do: Right-click on the printer icon and go to properties. You'll be looking for the tab that says "ports." Open that tab and see what port the computer thinks it's using for the printer. Chances it says it's using a parallel port, but it is in fact, using a USB port. I can't tell you which to choose without looking at what you see, but I think you might find one that makes reference to a USB port with a parallel connection of some type. Try clicking on that and see if your situation improves.
first ckeck out the your cartages are ok and then when you start the printer them it print the alignment page then put it in the scanner and scan it your problem will be surually solved
Brivron,
The printer will continue to print the test page at startup until it thinks the cartridge alignment process has completed correctly.
Running through the process on this HP support page should take care of the problem.

Tdragon,
Every time you install a new cartridge the printer wants to run an alignment page. If the alignment process is not completed it will print a page every time the printer is turned on. Your manual will describe how to do this procedure; if you don?t have one you can download it here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/manualCategory?lc=en&cc=us&docname=c00473778&dlc=en&product=428800&lang=en&
