IT sounds to me like you have one or more shorted windings on the armature of your drive motor which is apart of the trans-axle assembly. TO BE SURE remove the entire trans-axle module. I have a Rascal 600t all i have to do to remove my trans-axle is to remove to quick pins and my entire trans-axle assembly comes away from the scooter. Take the entire assembly down to your local motor repair shop that can rewind motors. Thay will check out the motor, take it apart and clean all the carbon dust from the brushes that gets all over the interior of the motor, doesn't do the motor bearing any good. Rewinding a motor isn't inexpensive costing $200 and up depending on the size and complexity of the motor. But the scooter trans-axle cost is astoundingly high at $1,500 and up. They say they are sealed unit and that they can not be repaired. In reality trans-axles are quite simple to repair and easily repaired. The only difficult thing are the scooter companies that will not come across with the parts and info we need in order for us to keep our scooters in good repair. So ii'd take the trans-axle down to the motor shop. They don't charge anything to check it out. When they do maintenance you will know its working right. When troubleshooting problem with scooter you eliminate half the machine when you eliminate the trans-axle. Get back to me once you've checked it out

SOURCE: I own a pride mobility scooter with an issue of stopping

It could be a loose battery connector and the controller heats up when it's trying to pull amperage out of the batteries but can't because of the loose connection Try tightening bolts on batteries but disconnect them first. Also it could be the brake on the motor and if the unit isn't shutting off the lights on the tiller blink in patterns to let you know what problems to check for.

Sorry but your probably going to have to get this to a service technician. That is a big problem you have there. Most wiring is`nt even color co-ordinated so it`s not a matter of matching up colors. I`d call a professional,

SOURCE: my battery pack on my fold n go has a short and

hi, ok now you need to check your wiring within the battery pack ,

If there are two batteries, you need to make sure that negative wire of one battery connects to the positive of the other battery,

now use the postiive and negative battery connections to connect to the scooter , that will give you your 24volts,

battery 1 connects battery 2
+ | - <------> + | -

== 24Volts

use the + of battery 1 & - of battery 2 to connect to the scooter.

GeWiz.

SOURCE: Pride Celebrity Deluxe Mobility Scooter - Serial Number

Hi. The serial number will be on a sticker on the upright support that holds up the seat. You will have to lift of the seat, and take the cover off the batteries to see it. It should be on the front of the deat support. Neil.

1999 Kawasaki ZX-6R Ninja keeps blowing the main fuse

Hi, Mooncat1970 before diagnosing your blown fuse issue, check the bottom of your seat, if its metal and comes in close proximity to the positive battery post you need to take the necessary steps to ensure there is no contact (electrical tape, thick rubber insulation, hammer a dent in the seat bottom etc.) You are going to need a wiring diagram from your service manual, a test light, an ohmmeter and plenty of extra fuses.
If you turn on your ignition switch and immediately blow a fuse you have a hard/dead short and is usually easy to find. With a test light connected to the hot side of the blown fuse holder start stabbing the wire/s that leads away from the fuse holder and towards the ignition switch, you test light will illuminate validating the short. When the test light fails to illuminate you have passed the short and need to back up until the test light illuminates, then look in the immediate area for the short.
If you driving down the road for 30 minutes or 15 miles and blow a fuse you have soft/flying short and may take some time and patience to find.
If the main fuse/circuit breaker constantly blows/trips while riding you probably have a faulty battery terminal connection. Check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary. Any other fuses that constantly keep blowing while riding are usually caused by a loose or corroded ground wire in the circuit, which means you have to check, inspect, test each and everyone with an ohm meter set on a low ohm scale 100 ohms or less . Simply touch one lead to the ground source and the other lead to the battery negative terminal, a reading of zero indicates a clean solid ground. Any number reading or infinity indicates a poor ground and needs to be repaired. Poor or weak grounds require excessive additional amperage to complete the circuit which in turn blows the small amperage fuse.

a memory saver should have been used when changing the battery. however the hvac control module will need to be relearned. this can be done with a scanner that can access the hvac module or you can take it to the dealer. but to replace the actuators in the climate control system the dash will have to be removed .

IT KEEPS TELLING ME TO CHANGE THE BATTERIES (EVEN WHEN THEY'RE NEW BATTERIES) AND SHUTS DOWN COMPLETELY.

Couldn't find a firmware upgrade for my Canon PowerShot A720. Tried putting a piece of rubber under the spring on the lid to make it tighter and it helped because I can take more pictures before I get the dead battery message (even thought they aren't dead). I bought the Duracell that you can check the charge on because I'm sure I've wasted dozens of batteries by now.

Bogs down & spits back through carb.

Sounds like you may need a valve job. Have you been keeping the valve clearances adjusted? It's important to do that on a four-stroke engine. Check your compression to find out if the valves are ok.

The starter will crank a couple of times, but doesn't start. The clock in the vehicle reset itself, possible dead battery? It will sometimes crank, and bog down like its not going to start... than it...

that's probably a weak battery, I don't think a bad starter would drag it down like that, have your battery and charing system checked, that'll fix it
if the alternator is putting out 13 volts at idle it's good
If you can get a larger capacity battery, it doesn't have to be physicaly larger, just more amperes output, and be sure to clean all terminals
