SOURCE: how to connect the creative ins 5.1sp to the philips dvd player
5.1 inspire sobwoofer are not compatible with dvd players so you have to buy a sobwoofer for your player. sobwoofer have 3 In puts so player has two out puts so you have to buy microlab 5.1 sub for use both equipment

SOURCE: subwoofer died (again)
I will buy the broken sub if you want so you can put that money towards normally sub and use your receiver to push the speakers
SOURCE: creative inspire T7900 7.1 stopped workin
Power light on at the volume knob?
plugged in all the way at the soundcard?
try other speakers even a stereo set to ensure soundcard not a fault?
SOURCE: Only 2 out of the 4 speakers of my Creative Inspire M4500 work!
If you still have the guarantee , then take it back to the buyer and replace it with a newer one and before you leave the shop try them there ! If that is not possible i'm asking you : What is your operating system and which service pack you got ? I think WinXp with service pack2 should solve the problem .
