No video from vcr denon 488

Make sure you're connecting the yellow RCA phono connector on the back of the Roku to a composite video input (same yellow connector) on the amp. Then the right input must be selected on the amp.

I cannot connect my Denon 2313ci to my home network. I have tried to hard wire the network and connect wirelessly via a netgear Ethernet adapter. Neither seem to recognize that the Ethernet is connected.

Hard wiring is your best solution. I assume you have a working router with a spare port. Once connected, switch off your router, wait 30 secs and re-boot. Log on to your router and look at the connected devices page (assuming you have DHCP enabled so that the Amp is automatically allocated a local address) If your router cannot see the Amp, you may have a faulty ethernet cable. Try plugging the cable into a laptop to see if it is working. If it appears you can reserve the address for the amp.

Arc connection doesn't work with directv

Some Directv boxes don't support ARC so you may have one that does not. There is an easy way to get around this, use an optical/ coax cable instead.

Denon 4308 doesn't output video signal

Please check the Denon seperately on another TV HDMI port to confirm if the TV port or the player is faulty.
Once this is confirmed I dont think it can be resolved with a reset as it seems that there is a failure of the HDMI input /ouput sections.
If so it is wise to take consensus and confirm .

"Video Select -It is not possible to select HDMI input signals. • When playing HDMI video input signals, the analog video signal of another input source cannot be selected for the HDMI video output."

I want to output blu ray dvd output in zone 2. Denon AV 4308

correct. in order to enjoy your digital sources in any zone2 configuration, an additional connection has to be made to the analog input from and for each of these devices.
some receivers wont allow internal xm, sirius and ipods to work in zone2 because they are input to the digital board and thats what your stuck with.

No dish network sound through denon 1609 receiver

check the setting for the HDMI connection at the Denon you may have to assign the HDMI audio setting also on the front of the Denon while in the DVR mode press the input mode button on the front of the Denon to select auto and if that doesn;t give you sound you will have to connect a cable from the DVR optical.coaxial or analog audio output to the Denon and setup for that type of audio connection

Denon 4308

ok sounds simple you ran the lines threw the tv instead all lines should be ran threw the sterio

see once you turn tv off this cuts the outputs out so now no sound will happen
your sterio should be equipted to take inputs of tv
you want everything to be inputed threw receiver thats why they call it a receiver the outputs on tv goto inputs on receiver
you need to redo your wireing so that this which i described is correct again
