Question about Ebel Tarawa Automatic 9127J40/5435136 Wrist Watch
I have a Theorema Paragon Automatic which I don't wear all the time so it stops couldn't get it to restart and couldn't find a solution either so tinkered around with it until I hit (no pun intended) a a self help solutions. Only winding the watch will not start the it. Solution: 1.Set the watch to the right time. 2. Wind it for about 40 full revolutions in clockwise rotation.3.Hold the watch in your right hand by the strap and hit it firmly into the palm of your left hand. Giving the watch a shock This kick starts the spring mechanism into life and solves the problem.

Sounds like the oil is contaminated and causing undo friction or the main spring is ether broken or slipping. Time to service your watch. call me 707-338-3207 www.finewatchmaking.com
