Lint trap I have a Whirlpool Ultimate Care II Ultra Quiet that I inherited from former owner of house. There must be a lint trap somewhere in the thing because my dark clothes come out covered with lint. Suggestions? Location of trap?

it Has one but is supposed to be self cleaning. To access it, inner tub / basket has to be removed requiring a special scanner wrench to remove basket nut. Filter is on bottom of inner basket and can be manually cleaned or replaced.
You'll have to be a little more specific please. What kind of trap are you thinking of/referring to? Not aware of any type of "trap " on this model. Are you talking about some sort of lint trap? And what problem/s are you having with the washer (like what's it doing or not doing)?
didc, on a gas dryer, if the thermal fuse blows it will still rotate, but will not heat. Since this is a gas dryer, see if the ignitor is glowing. If it is, then you know the thermal fuse is good. If not, the thermal fuse may be blown or the ignitor itself and thus the reason for no heat. Catriver.
