I am haveing to go in and readjust the settings on the custom 5-band equilizer settings everytime I turn it on. Is this standard or am I missing something? This player would be great if it wasn't for this annoying problem

This appears to be a bug with the Canon software. It is not using the correct dimensions for a DL envelope.
The solution is to use a Custom Paper Size. Make it 110mm wide and 220mm high (which are the correct dimensions for a DL envelope).
To make it easy to select this size in the future, set the Custom Paper Size (plus any other options you want) and then click on the Save button. When the save dialog appears, click on Options and make sure that "Save the paper size setting" is checked. Then enter a suitable name (e.g., "Envelope DL Custom") and click OK.
If you radio doesnt save the stations either when you turn off the truck then it could be your wiring.. For example; Normally you have two power wires.. A red one(Accessory).. and a yellow one(Battery). The yellow one is like the memory.. and the red one powers the stereo when you turn the key. Try switching yours over.. See if that helps. Easily confused and you wouldnt really notice the difference.
your solution works fine with me, but the problem is i can't able to save the settings on the printer. so everytime i need to print on that given custom sized paper type, i need to manualy select it from advance tab on printer properties before i have a good print-out..
Only parametric EQ OR Bass/Treble can be active at a time. There is a option to set which one you want, refer to manual. Follow this- Adjusting Sound Setting Mode (long press "sound-mode" button) -> EQ SELECT-> select either P. EQ or B/T
