I just recently bought a Nikon Coolpix 7600 7.1 megapixel Camera and it came with batteries. I was just wondering if anyone could help me figure out if it has an AC Adapter, because on certain websites it says I can purchase one, but I don't know where it would go on the Camera or where the input is. I have had the Camera for a day, and have already gone through three sets of batteries. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Mine came with a nikon power carger for the nikon penlight accus (nimh) yes this camera eats batteries and i suggest a charger set with NIMH accu's above 2500 Mah are adviseable
in holland de 2950 Mah accus (nimh) are the highest you can buy on 2500mah it should be able to shoot 50 pictures with flash and 75 with out .. (don't forget to tell in the setup what batteries you have in it)
From this page: http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/CP7600/CP76A.HTM "The Nikon 7600 comes with two AA alkaline batteries, but I highly recommend picking up a set of rechargeable batteries and a charger. Read my NiMH battery shootout page to see which batteries currently on the market are the best, and see my review of the Maha C-204W NiMH battery charger, my current favorite. The optional AC adapter uses a "dummy battery" that slides into the battery compartment. This could be useful for offloading pictures after a long day of shooting, but really shouldn't be necessary for the vast majority of users." You should be able to find one for somewhere in the $30-40 range.
