Canon PowerShot A70 will not take photos

The camera comes on and all appears to be well. images appear on the LCD screen, however when I click to take a picture nothing happens.

Same here... Guess the cable from the lens to the mainboard is FUBAR...

i think there is some problem with your LCD display. try to take some photo, and download to pc. if the pictures are fine. then you have to go a service station.

Digital camera, sometimes no image.

It is a failure of faulty CCD image sensor. cannon has recall and will pay for repair and shipping when I called this #.

your problem isinternal circuit fault the recording section is not working. which is not giving any signal to LCD . you nee dto give itr in service centre. fault may also come in change over switch which is not giving connection to LCD. Sangita
