Check all of the fuses inside. If none are blown, unplug and hold power button for 20 seconds thus resetting all of the capacitors. Plug in and hold power button for 20 seconds thus powering the capacitors up safely. should work
It sounds like there is a fuse blown in side. I had a similar result after I changed out the IC chips, There is a way to get the error code. Unplug the TV then plug it back in. Press and hold "Device" and "Menu" button at the same time. The power button will blink the error code. Mine was a 2 - 2 which meant it had a short. When I researched that it turned out my 5A Pico fuses where blown. I checked them and they where bad. I soldered in 2 new ones and it turned back on. In most cases if you have a 2 - 2 you will also need to replace the IC's. I got mine from http://www.tvrepairkits.com
Hello Hloggins, hi, your power supply is not producing the pulse needed to start the switching. check for the IC on the oscillator part of the power supply, you need an Oscilloscope to test this. if there is no scope. i suggest you replace the IC.
