Microsoft LIfe Chat LX 3000, they can not hear me but I can hear

I have Microsoft Life Chat LX 3000 and I was able to use it no problem but all of a sudden it stopped working properly. I can hear the person on the other line but they can not hear me...Help
I checked to make sure that the volume was on......

    My sound is fine, the microphone stopped working and apprantley its making strange noises when I talk.

    When I try to use my microphone, it gives me this screwed up noise. Blegh, it's annoying. Microphone not working, giving a stupid noise. Thats' it.

    i installed it, and i can hear everyone else on ventrilo, or any other thing, but when i talk no on hears me, and i did test and i don't hear mysefl, and i did a monitor and it said it was all absolute zero :S help me!

    My mic used to work absoluately fine earlier but it has now stopped working.........I guess no driver problem because system recognize it as default recording device and headphone works fine.............Don't know the reasons.........Need help!

Not to take the p!ss but make sure you haven't got micro phone muted on the volume control that's inline with cable :P

My guess it's something in the cabling of this device I think it is cheaper to buy a new headset with the same quality. I think that that best solves your problem.
