I got the same problem. As you suggested, I blowed air with my mouth. The DVD player can read the disc again! icansurf you rock!

Look for dust, dirt or foreign object on the laser lens under where you put the disc in. Maybe blow some clean air on it.

When I put a dvd in the loading sign is in the upper left hand corner and dvd won't play.

the disc guide is too large for the hole in the middle of the disc.
I have the same problem, the dvd player is only a year old..I tried blowing dust out and it still wont play.....it says its loading and then eventually it says no disc in the corner...
I have the same problem, place a CD/DVD, all I get is: NO DISC, on the screen's lef corner (top corner)
