MGR5750ADW conversion from natuar gas to LPG

I have been told there is no conversion kit needed to go from natural gas to LPG but can't find instructions in the manuel. I have instructions from LPG to natural gas, but want to know if we can simply reverse them. Also since our tech is French speaking (Quebec) are the instructions available in French? Thanks!

SOURCE: I need access to gas valve in my Maytag mdg5500aww dryer

When I posted the question, I had not removed the front of the dryer. I thought the gas burner etc. had to be accessed from the back. As soon as I removed the front of the dryer I realized it was all up front and accessable. Conversion was straight forward from that point.

SOURCE: Convert Maytag Dryer to LP from Natural Gas?

yes it is very much necessary. the natural gas pressure is much lower that LP. it is @3.5 in, water column. The monometer is a pressure reading instrument that will tell what pressure is present at the gas source, appliance gas manifold and gas valve. Read the conversion kit instructions well. And adjust pressure according to data plate specifications. A u-tube water monometer is the best and most accurate however a standard analog will surfice. Please use caution.

SOURCE: dryer has been converted to propane using conversion kit #131776600 and I need the info needed to get it back to run on NG The dryer is a Fidgaire Gallery series model #FDGC648GHS0 any help greatly a

Hello there. If the parts were saved, they can be reused. If not, contact your propane provider and tell them that you plan to convert back to natural gas. They will be able to get you the kit you need, and will possibly have a technician come out and install it for a fee.

SOURCE: need instructions and part # for lp conversion kit

Your conversion jets are usually located beneath the hinge area or the back panel on that stove and are mounted on a plate which holds all of the LP jets in a row. there is no need to buy a conversion kit, since it is already supplied. The jets mount on the burner control itself as it enters the gas flow tube, and the oven jet mounts just before the large burner under the plate in your oven area. Just remove that large oven floor plate and you will see it.

Have a NG unit need to convert to LP gas. wath can i do.????

Unfortunately, there is absolutely nothing you can safely do to convert it from Natural Gas to LPG.
Each unit is manufacutered and tested for the specific gas type. Attempting to change it, puts all the liability on you, if something should go wrong. There are some on this site that will tell you all you have to do, is change the pilot orifice. That's fine for a Vented heating appliance, but not a Vent-free Heater like yours. In your case, you'd need a new control valve assembly, pilot assembly, burner, etc. That alone is about the cost of a new LPG Vent-free Heater. Besides, DESA Interantional has been out of business for 3 or 4 years now. So, parts would be an issue.

Sell the heater to someone who has Natural Gas and use the proceeds toward a new LPG Vent-free Heater. Always remember and don't every forget, it's always safety first when it comes to gas appliances.

Hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Is it possible to convert a rinnai avenger 25 from natural gas to lpg?

Yes it Should but you will want to check with manafactuer because it will need a conversion kit for lp gas. Natural gas is a different p.s.i. than lp gas so don't try without conversion kit. It should be just a small fitting that goes inside the gas valve. Hope this helps have a good day
