I couldn't find the model number on your selections. My camcorder number is GR-SXM260U. A piece has fallen out and resembles two little cylinders attached by a small black piece. ( one is white that rotates around and the other is silver that looks like a silver pin) When recording then playback, I get sound but no picture. Everything is blurry and fuzzy. Where does this piece fit into? Thank you, Bryan Vasko
The component that fell out is called a tape guide. The guide assembly fits into the guide rail on the supply side (left side) of the drum. You will notice another guide to the right, this is the take up guide assy, it sits in the guide rail assembly as well. There will be a silver shaft sticking up from the guide rail where the tape guide should be seated, with gentle pressure, the guide should snap back on and the unit should operate correctly. Please do not touch the drum surface as this may damage the video head assembly. Hope this helps you, good luck. Joe Weibel customelectronics.org
