Re: Loss Of Blue Color
The loss of blue could be one of 3 things. First of all if you are connected to a HD cable box or a HD sat. recvr. using component cables. Make sure the BLUE connection hasn't fallen out or is loose. The possibilities is the blue CRT (picture tube) itself or something in the blue CRT driving circuit.

that's got t o do with personnel preference and room lighting , but as a general rule adjust color hue's till the edges of a white color object on screen has just lost its primary color edge
the older projection TV's actually have voltage numbers for the service tech to adjust them too , but im not remembering seeing any in the LCD manuals
Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Need to know if older set with picture tubes---turn color off--if yellow screen you have a loss of blue of some sort--red and green will give you a yellow screen. If set has the 3 picture tubes look inside in the lens to see if all 3 have a image---little or no blue means a problem there.
The color of the television are compose of three color RED,GREEN and BLUE.So the lost color is the green. The problem is in the color section of the CRT board in the chroma section and in the CRT socket board.Maybe theres a loose connection in the PCB like the cathode output transistor.
This the classic symptom for component input wires being crossed. Check color coding on tv input and signal sourse. Green,Blue and Red wires must correspond. If ok Is the color off on the tv menu also. If so and wires are ok replace light engine.

1)Please verify your model # from back of set......
2)Reduce the color to minimum or tune in a black & white chan.
you should see gray, not yellow hue
3)Remove lower front grill cover & access panel.....locate the
focus / screen control block...turn blue screen control slightly
CW......red,green and blue must mix to equal gray
