I and my family recently moved from one place to another. since then my projection tv hasnt shown. i mean it will show for about 5 minutes then the picture goes out.it was fine before we moved it. what could be the problem? i tried cleraning the lenses, unplugging it , to no avail.

The best way to transport the TV is standing up with the front secured to a 'side' of vechile. If you don't have that choice lay the TV down on it's face. With both make sure you have plenty of moving blankets.The side would be my last resort because of stability. DO NOT LAY ON BACK!!!!
you have lost red convergence. which ussally means one or both of the convergence amps need to be replace.. but it could be a resistor. does the red cross move up or down or side to side. how about the blue does it move in eather direction. this will let me know if both are bad
If the convergence is out but uniformly then chances are its not electrical problem more likely to be physical see if the 3 small crt tubes are loose & can move about.
Or was your stuff insured during the move if so put in a claim.
