I have an 8 GB Zen Microphoto... The player refuses to turn on, or do anything at all whether connected to my computer or not. I've tried Creative's 'Recovery Mode', and don't know what to do aside from send it in for repair... Any ideas?
THANKS ALOT! This worked for me! I took out my battery for a few minutes, then I put it in again. If you take it out and put it in before 5 minutes, it won't work. You have to wait. THANK YOU SO MUCH CYBRO.!

I assume you've tried removing the battery and reinstalling it after a few minutes. That worked for me.

i have the problem.
i just got an mp3 accessible radio for christmas so i plugged it in.
when i was done and unplugged it, it loaded up to 10% then froze.
i tried the repair it comes with on the software, but it still won't turn on.
the computer says it's not even plugged in.
I also have this same problem. I connected it to my PC after turning it on and I put some songs into it. When i unplugged it, I realized it was off. After that, it won't turn on at all, and it isn't detected by the PC anymore.
Got same problem, never got it to work, called creative lab, can't do anything about it. Leave the piece useless, cost over $200. Never buying their product anymore.

Ya mine wont turn on i turned it off and put it on my dask then i went to turn it back on when i picked it up and it wont turn on any more its been like a year and it stil wont turn on did you ever get yours going and if you did could you tell me some ideas how to fix it ?
I have the same problem. I plugged it in, and it was charging, and then I restarted my computer, and next thing you know. It wasn't working. I tried takign the battery out and everything. Does anyone have the file for the installation cd. I lost mine and I am going to try to download it again, and see if that works. Please, and Thank You. I really like my mp3, and I do not want another one.Â
We have the same problem. The player was working fine, my daughter dropped it in the grass and not far at all in height. It does absolutely nothing, even when it is plugged in to my computer, unrecognizable by computer....Help please. Do not want to buy my teen a new one.....
