Buy a new radio, you'll never find just the faceplate... trust me on this one it's not worth the headache.

Can't get the player out of demo. Does not respond to button pushing in any combo either.
try taking the deck out of the car and unhooking it for a while that should reset it to factory settings

CDC-X304 in permanent DEMO mode
I HAVE SAME PROBLEM. AFTER I REPLACED MY DEAD BATTERY MY AIWA CDC-X304 IS STUCK IN THE DEMO MODE. ONLY CD WORKS BUT ALL BUTTONS ON FACING DO NOT RESPOND. ANY SUGGESTIONS HOW TO RESET.
