Seats (grey/leather) -1995 900 Turbo SE

The bottoms of both the passenger and driver seats are torn to shreds. The seats work fine so replacing them on such an old car seems ridiculous. It would probably cost a 1/4 of what I paid for it.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix the leather, get a cover that actually fits a 1995 900 for cheap, or replace just the bottom cushions?

Neoprene two tone seat covers are available at State of Nine but are pricey. You can spend about $250 and perform a DIY leather repair and dye job to the entire interior. Here is what I did, using leather cream crack filler and auto leather dye. It lasts about three years and then requires touching up.

Swapped seats but heat not working - f56 mini cooper s

Are the connectors actually wired the same? Check the wiring diagrams for each seat if you can find them, otherwise trace the wiring from the internal components in the seat to the connector and make sure the heaters are going to heater power pins in the original harness, and temperature sensors are going to temperature sensor pins (temperature sensors may be polarized, that is, it makes a difference which pin goes to positive and which to ground).

We're about to buy a Suzuki XL7 2003 model but can't find the child seat anchor points in the middle row of seats. There are 2 hooks on the back of the middle and the LHS (passenger side) seats - are they...

Check for the seat belts under the seats in that row by pulling up on the little leather or plastic handles found on the side of seat or between the top and bottom of seats. Hope that Helps.

2003 buick lesabre heated seats wont work

I had this problem, but only on the driver's side (with leather seats). Sometimes the switch would come on, but I could not get it to go back off (and the seat would not heat).

I ended up removing the drivers front seat cover (only the bottom part), folding it back from the driver's door to the middle of the car. You also have to unplug the wiring harness underneath the seat. I found a black spot burned in the foam. This is where a wire had broken. I carefully pulled the wire together, then soldered it. I put everything back together, and it has been working ever since (about 6 months - and getting lots of use in the middle of the winter).

I think the only way to replace the heated seat wires is to replace the whole seat cover. I was glad I could fix mine by soldering it.

The heated seats don't heat, both driver and passenger side.

your heater element in the seat went bad,the dealer will have to do this because the seat has come apart the cover wether it is leather or cloth.
