Canon i960 I have been using this printer for three years and it has been working fine. I needed more USB plugs so I purchased a new multi hub. I plugged the printer in and now I only get a steady orange light. I have unplugged it and nothing changed. I can't turn the printer off by the on/off button.

It may well be that the pc cannot find the driver for the printer as the multi hub has now taken over the usb port and as far as the pc is concerned the printer doesn't exist. If the multi hub is not mains powered, that may be the problem, as the power supply unit may not be powerfull enough to power the hub, then the printer. Remove the printer and disconnect fron hub for 10 mins or so, and put back into the port the printer was originally in to see if it works.

Switch off the printer and disconect the USB cable for 30 seconds. deep clean on the black head to get it work properly.

I would guess that the printhead is bad. Google cleaning printheads or get a new one. Sometimes , not always you can clean the printhead instead of replacing. (take out and clean by hand)

Canon i960 printer will not print magenta color

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

Canon multipass mp730

Plug the printer in to cumputer if you have not done so. New hardware will come up and ask if you have CD or select from list. Choose select from list. Select Maker - Canon Select Model - click on install - you now have a working connection. The alternative to he above is to go to Start/Printers and faxes - install new printer follow the prompts as above.

Printer won't work

Roni1, I wouldn?t pay $180 to repair a printer with three or four year old technology. I?m sure there is a difference in printer costs in Panama but here in upstate New York you can pick up a new name brand photo printers that range between $100 and $200 and that comes with a warranty.
