I've has the printer for almost a year and it worked just fine utill suddenly it kept beeping and had "check printer" onthe screen. I don't know what to check and i thought unplugging it and re-plugging would help, but it didn't. Please help! I don't know what to check on my printer and I've lifted the lever several time, but nothing works. Also, usually when i lift the lever, the ink-set will drag by, and i could change ink if i wanted to, but now it doesn't move anymore. Nothing happens anymore! Please Help anyway you can!!!

This is a problem with the Encoder sensor hence you need to clean it and make sure there is no Ink on it. The encoder sensor is the sensor which is at the back of the carriage where you can find a plastic strip.
By cleaning it the problem will be solved
If the capping unit is having problem only then this error appears. Check and make sure the capping unit is working well.
(Capping unit is on the right side of the printer where the carraige is parked when it is turned off)
Hi. If you had done utility check and they are fine, had you try printing on a stand alone not using a computer. if you can print on a stand alone, there is no problem on the hardware side of the printer because u were able to print on a stand alone. you can focus now on the software side by uninstalling and re installing the driver of the printer and that should work.
Your printers carriage belt has gone loose you are required to change it. I'd advise you to send it to an expert because changing of a belt in your ink jet is not feasible with guidence through text messages.

You may have some machines with the bad capacitor problem. Check out
saome pictures from my web site at www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htm Open your
computers and see if you have any capacitors that look like the
pictures. The Dell GX270's and the GX280's have the problem. There are several places on the internet that can repair your boards if you find that this is the problem. I hope this helps.

The paper is pulled in with rubber traction wheels on a rotating rod where the bottom of the paper sits in the loading area. If these rubber wheels get slick or hard, they won't pull.
Buffing the rubber wheels lightly with fine sandpaper will restore the wheels to the rubbery texture they need to pull the paper. But be SURE to completely clean any abrasive dust out of the machine before use.
